Matt Perra

Matt leads the TwinFocus Technology Team in strategically developing the direction of the MIS program. He monitors, manages, enhances and solves challenges across the technology stack while also helping to develop, deploy and implement new solutions. Over the past 15+ years, he has gained extensive experience with various technology platforms and tools ranging from Microsoft 365, MS Azure, Azure active directory and Mimecast secure email to MS Teams as well as many other technology platforms.
Prior to TwinFocus, Matt worked at DraftKings, an online sports-betting company, where he managed all aspects of end-user support for North America, covering 4000+ users over multiple physical sites as well as remote users. His experience also includes Olympus, a medical device company, where he created the vision and strategy of the end-user support framework to drive efficiencies and improve the overall user experience. Matt is a graduate of Stonehill College and holds a B.S in business administration with a minor in computer information systems.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love the fact that there are no typical days within IT. I also enjoy helping people out during what can be a stressful situation when technology is not acting as expected.
What unique personal skills make you great at your role at TwinFocus?
I think I bring a unique perspective to my work. I’ve been fortunate to have had different roles within IT. I strive to use this varied experience to help users have a good experience when new tech is introduced or if there is an issue that needs to be addressed.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In addition to getting back to the gym, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and travelling. For me, it is all about creating memorable experiences.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
I’m extremely proud of both my children. I’m lucky to have two excellent students who are focused on their individual goals even at young ages. My wife and I couldn’t be more proud of them.
